Growing Together
Community Garden Program
Our community garden program, Growing Together, is a collaborative effort to promote sustainable food production, foster community engagement, and provide fresh produce to residents. Participants in the program learn about gardening techniques, sustainable agriculture practices, and the importance of healthy eating.
The community garden is more than just a place to grow fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. It's a shared space where individuals come together not only to cultivate plants but also to cultivate relationships. Through hands-on experience, participants gain valuable skills in gardening, teamwork, and environmental stewardship while contributing to a stronger, more connected community. Additionally, the garden provides a source of fresh, organic produce distributed to program participants and local food pantries, further strengthening our community ties.
The Growing Together program also offers educational workshops, cooking demonstrations, and community events. These initiatives promote healthy eating habits, food security, and community engagement. The program aims to build a stronger, more resilient community, one seed at a time, by empowering individuals to grow their food and share resources with their neighbors.
Partner with us in the Growing Together community garden program and help us cultivate a healthier, more sustainable future for our community!
